Day 01 : Arrival Cochin and transfer to Hotel (90 mts)
Arrive Cochin. Meet and Greet at Airport and Transfer to your Hotel.
One of India’s most interesting towns, a principle port and the centre of the spice trade on the Malabar Coast Kochi is rich in history and retains a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. The first European settlement in India, Kochi was founded by Vasco da Gama in 1502, however it was the British who influenced this colourful city the most with it being under direct British political control from 1795 up until India’s independence.
Day 02: Cochin Sightseeing and Evening Kathakali Dance show
After breakfast, morning explore Fort Kochi. Visit St Francis Church the oldest European church in India before walking
down to the waterfront to witness the fascinating Chinese fishing nets and peruse the market stalls. Afterwards, return to your car to visit Mattancherry Palace, the nearby merchant houses and a fine synagogue (closed on Friday &Saturday). Mattancherry Palace (closed on Friday) was built by the Portuguese in 1557 as a gift to the Raja of Kochi in exchange for trading rights and today houses exhibits of clothes, weapons and furniture as well as having numerous remarkable murals painted on the wooden walls. Continue to the synagogue, adorned with beautiful Cantonese ceramic tiles, before stepping out and exploring the local streets which still teem with traders who selling varieties of rice, ginger, garlic, chilli and antiques from street side warehouses.
Evening you may wish to visit Kathakali Dance (a traditional dramatic dance of Kerala)
Day 03: Cochin to Munnar (4 hrs)
After breakfast, leave for Munnar, the most popular hill stations in South India, situated at the confluence of three mountain streams Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni & Kundala. It was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British officers in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book town, winding lanes, trekking & holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Afternoon sightseeing of Munnar.

Day 04 : Munnar
Today after breakfast, we take a tour of Munnar, visiting the world's highest tea estates spread like a green carpet over a large area. Later we visit Eravikulam National Park, the best place to see the rare Nilgiri Tahr (mountain goat). This sanctuary was set up for the preservation of the endangered Nilgiri Thar (animal sighting is subject to luck). Later visit other tourist interested places.

Day 05: Munna to Thekkady (Periyar) - 4 hrs drive
After breakfast, drive to Periyar (also known as Thekkady).
Today we explore one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in India, the Periyar Wildlife Reserve. Set on an attractive lakeside, it is South India's most popular Wildlife Sanctuary. Periyar is a place to cruise on the lake & gives an opportunity to see wildlife. It is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, bison, antelopes, sambhar, wild boar, monkey, a wide variety of birds. Next we explore the sanctuary to experience the beauty & ecological pattern. Optional Spice Plantation & Boat Ride. Overnight at Hotel in Periyar.
Day 06: Periyar to Alleppey (4.5 hrs)
After breakfast, leave for Alleppey, the famous backwater tourist destination in Kerala. Alleppey is undoubtedly the most invigorating, fascinating paradise in Kerala, God's own country. An enchanting picnic spot Alleppey provides boating, fishing and sightseeing experiences that are truly exhilarating. On the scenic Vembanad lake you will come across plenty of traditional country crafts or houseboats, boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake runs into the mainland making a labyrinth of lagoons, brooks, canals and waterways. The backwater houses a variety of species of both fauna and flora and marine life.
On arrival board the HouseBoat, locally called Kettuvallam, and cruise around beautiful Vembanad Lake,. Overnight On board Houseboat. The premium exclusive houseboats that we use are furnished and consist of a thatch-covered lounge/dining area; One or Two double bedrooms with attached bathrooms with all modern amenities. Meals are cooked on board and the house boat is staffed with a captain cum deck hand and a cook. (Bedroom will be air-conditioned).
Day 07: Alleppey to Cochin airport (2.5 to 3 hrs).
Disembark House boat after breakfast and proceed to Cochin airport for onward journey.
